About

Who you would actually be working with

Singapore Business Broker is the sell-side M&A practice of The Funding Assembly. We work with Singapore SME owners on transactions in the S$3m to S$30m range.

A boutique, and what that trade-off means

We are deliberately small. On your mandate you work with the people who run it, from the first conversation to completion, rather than a business development person who signs you up and hands you on.

That is the advantage, and the corresponding disadvantage is worth stating honestly: a boutique does not have the deal volume, research desk or international coverage of a large corporate finance house. If your business needs a cross-border auction with twenty international bidders, engage a firm built for that.

What we are built for is the Singapore SME where the owner is the business, confidentiality is existential, and the difference between a good outcome and a poor one is whether anyone ran a real process.

Why the exact-match name

Singapore Business Broker is a standalone brand under The Funding Assembly. The parent firm does the fulfilment, and it is credited here and in the footer rather than hidden. Owners search for a business broker in Singapore, and we would rather be findable than clever.

The Funding Assembly

Four commitments, each one checkable

We tell you when not to sell

If a sale is premature, or the business is below the size where we add value, we say so in the first conversation rather than taking a mandate that will not complete.

Fees in writing, before you commit

An engagement fee to prepare the materials and a success fee at completion. Both set out in writing, with a worked example on your own numbers, before you sign anything.

We state the agency position unprompted

On a sale mandate we act for the seller. Where a buyer pays us for buy-side process work, that fee is disclosed to both sides. Nobody has to ask.

No client is named without permission

Live mandates are described only in disguised terms. Completed transactions are named only where the client agreed in writing.
